8 days of warming up

Today is April the 8th. 8 days since the start of life becoming a polytechnic student. The stress and the anxiety forming on Orientation day tomorrow, the new people, the environment, the lecturers, what to do?!!!
However, I know that April 9 is going to be a revolutionary day where my whole life changes to a positive direction. Thats what life really is, getting out of my comfort zone and going for the kill! This applies to all of you people whether is your first day at school or work, dont be shy. If all else fails, prepare yourself mentally like me who spent 8 fulfilling days of my life preparing for one of the most important day of my life. In the first two days, I visited my City Gallery in Singapore to see the rapid progress of this country and its future before  I tour the Arts and Civic District with a few good movies just to relieve the stress. Here is a picture down below of Sexy Singapore
For the next 4 days, I went overseas to Kuala Lumpur, where my extended family live. Besides once again going to the civic district and Arts district. I came to learn the importance of family, I learnt that when times are tough and the odds are against you, your family is the one that can support you and spur you on to not to give up in life and to pursue your dream. I also learnt about the power of food that is able to bond people from all walks together from a simple plate of crab. This trip is also special to me as I visited the cemetery for a traditional event called CHINGMING which is where we go to the graves of our formal loved ones and pay respect. Here's the picture below with its peaceful transquility surrounding it.
The last two days were spent in Singapore mainly at home, learning about the comforts of a personal home where Home is truly where the heart is. I read numerous amounts of self-improvement books so as to organise my life better when my schooling starts tomorrow. Remember, reading is also a golden skill I encourage all of you to take, as you would constantly learn new things instead of sitting down in front of a television for the whole day. The next 6 days would be my foundation to the polytechnic, starting from the orientation to the start of pursuing my diploma. I hope that you and I will have a prosperous year to come once again, so long..
Here is a picture of me enjoying my hike of Bukit Timah Hill yesterday in Singapore, remember breaks are necessary as life is like running a marathon.
