This Nasi Padang is always packed with people everyday, parking is a MAJOR problem here so those with cars should watch out. Their recipes are so good, but this place has full of secret recipes, there has been even a case where a rival Nasi Padang tried to steal the secret recipe, and than this Newspaper finally created justice for it.
To be perfectly honest, all their dishes is very nice, making you forget about your future health and diet plans, resisting to temptation to savour fantastic Nasi Padang.

We would like to wish everybody a Happy Mother's Day, these quotes may not be the best but short and sweet, enjoy!

This year, spend a good mother's day. Think back and reflect of the things that your mother has done for you, whether is a simple thing like nagging you to something like preparing dinner for the family. You cant give her back the things that she provided you but you can do at least something simple like giving her a hug, a kiss or best if you #friendmumonfacebook. Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day. You guys would only have a one and only mother, make the best use out of it!

Settling in

A month or so has gone by, everyone is already settling in in our normal lives. Yet, there will be barriers that will annoy and frustrate us to the point of giving up. Such as the constant threats from North Korea to start a nuclear war which shook the world because of the dire consequences if this happened, the bombings in the Boston Marathon which gave us a chilling reminder about the constant presence of terrorism, the frustration of being back stabbed and bullied by others, or even the one you like or love being challenged or taken away by another person. With work and these barriers, isn't it really easy to give up. However, life is a race where the fittest would survive. The fittest would expect the highs and lows of their lives, the fittest would be expected to break barriers in order to survive in this complex world, the fittest would never give up in order to survive. Its just a month, but looks at so many things that have happened and impacted our lives, it looks like the world is ending but its not. Therefore, the word settling in comes to play, to settle in into our lives accepting the circumstances, to settle in into our lives thinking positively despite the negativity in this world, and finally settling into our lives pursuing our passion, whether you are a basketball player, a singer or a entrepreneur. Settle and see the greatness that life has to offer.

4 days of final touches. 4 days of preparation. 4 days of living life. 4 days of polytechnic life.4 poems of life

DAY 1 (1st day)
The start of School Life
The Ringing of the bells
The assembly of people
From Rags To Riches of life
To the journey of self-discovery
The Making of new friends
The start of a new life
The journey of Polytechnic life

DAY 2 (2nd day)
The flow of a new life
Flows with the rhythm of time
The time became precious
So is our lives
Friends were made well
Spirits ecstatically high
Voices started to flow
As we progress in out journey of life

DAY 3 ( Whatsapp group)
The adventure runs deeper
To discover a skill named teamwork
A group was named in authority
For phones would become slaves
The Fingers become aloof
To agitate the souls of humans
Show-offs were talking trash
To progress in the spirit of life

DAY 4 ( Special meeting)
The friends we recently made
We meet up in a cafe
To talk intensely about life
To produce the essence of life
The camera became a tool
To mark and treasure the fool
The likes the loves the tags
To prosper in  the spirit of life

8 days of warming up

Today is April the 8th. 8 days since the start of life becoming a polytechnic student. The stress and the anxiety forming on Orientation day tomorrow, the new people, the environment, the lecturers, what to do?!!!
However, I know that April 9 is going to be a revolutionary day where my whole life changes to a positive direction. Thats what life really is, getting out of my comfort zone and going for the kill! This applies to all of you people whether is your first day at school or work, dont be shy. If all else fails, prepare yourself mentally like me who spent 8 fulfilling days of my life preparing for one of the most important day of my life. In the first two days, I visited my City Gallery in Singapore to see the rapid progress of this country and its future before  I tour the Arts and Civic District with a few good movies just to relieve the stress. Here is a picture down below of Sexy Singapore
For the next 4 days, I went overseas to Kuala Lumpur, where my extended family live. Besides once again going to the civic district and Arts district. I came to learn the importance of family, I learnt that when times are tough and the odds are against you, your family is the one that can support you and spur you on to not to give up in life and to pursue your dream. I also learnt about the power of food that is able to bond people from all walks together from a simple plate of crab. This trip is also special to me as I visited the cemetery for a traditional event called CHINGMING which is where we go to the graves of our formal loved ones and pay respect. Here's the picture below with its peaceful transquility surrounding it.
The last two days were spent in Singapore mainly at home, learning about the comforts of a personal home where Home is truly where the heart is. I read numerous amounts of self-improvement books so as to organise my life better when my schooling starts tomorrow. Remember, reading is also a golden skill I encourage all of you to take, as you would constantly learn new things instead of sitting down in front of a television for the whole day. The next 6 days would be my foundation to the polytechnic, starting from the orientation to the start of pursuing my diploma. I hope that you and I will have a prosperous year to come once again, so long..
Here is a picture of me enjoying my hike of Bukit Timah Hill yesterday in Singapore, remember breaks are necessary as life is like running a marathon.

A word of appreciation

Hi, it has only been hours since my blog was established, I am heartened to see views from people all around  the world such as Germany and the United States. Though it may not be a big number, it shows the potential of people rethinking, reevaluating about their way of life, as it should be. Let us make the world the happier place to live in, where people stop complaining and appreciate every aspect of life such as Thomas Edison, the inventor of the lightbulb who quoted after 1001 attempts at it, " I have not failed. I've just found 10000 ways that wont work" , thats the positive spirit I have been dying to see in us humans.
